About EVA
Ending Violence Alliance is part of group of Violence Against Women Coordinating Committees across Ontario that are committed to ending violence against women, girls and gender-diverse people. You may remember us by our previous name (Ending Violence Against Women). We have recently re-branded to better reflect the population we serve which does not only include those who identify as female.
Violence Against Women Coordinating Committees aim to support community coordination activities to improve community responses to the needs of survivors of abuse by strengthening linkages and networks among existing community agencies/service providers and enhancing inter-agency cooperation, collaboration, coordination and integration. You can learn more about VAW Coordinating Committees here.
EVA is made up of a network of frontline agencies and individuals who work to eliminate gender-based violence (GBV) in Renfrew County and beyond. We advocate for personal, systemic and community change that will end GBV. Our focus is on prevention, education, systemic change, networking and service provision related to all forms of GBV throughout Renfrew County.
